I've recently been inspired to revisit my writing. It's been a couple years since I've logged into All Poetry, but reading some of my old work made me smile. I miss getting lost in my thoughts and creating a work of art. So here I am, 22 and a college senior, ready to try this again. I'm engaged now, getting married Aug 8, 2009 to the love of my life whom some of these poems/songs are actually about. Yes, we endured through high school and college and are getting ready to start our life together. I see a lot of familiar faces around and I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with all of you!

I’ve been waiting for my dreams
To turn into something
I could believe in

Magic rainbow
On the horizon
I couldn’t see it
Until I let go
Gave into love and watched all the bitterness burn

Body and soul
