I love your motto. Because I love snapple. I love the "real facts" on the caps. Days like today should be as easy as drinking snapple.

    Hello!
I just read your comment on my poem "left" again and I wanted to thank you once more, or possibly for the first time... sometimes Iose track of my comments... Anyhoo, thanks!

First of all, I want to thank you immensely for all the kind words you've ever given me, praising my amature's attempt at poetry. It's the reassurance, that what I write actually affects a person other than myself, that keeps me putting pen to paper (and fingers to keyboard). It really is a form of inspiration all in its own. So, actually thank YOU for inspiring ME.
One of my favorite quotes of all time is one of Max Frisch. He said, "Time does not change us. It just unfolds us." In other words, you have all of your best poetry still inside of you, waiting to be put onto paper. It merely hasn't been unfolded yet, but it will come as you grow as a person. Until then, your poetry reflects who you are and should not be given up on (though breaks are undoubtedly needed sometimes). I've read you many a times, and I think your work is absolutely brilliant. If you don't abandon your poetry, it'll keep growing and soon you'll find you were your favorite poet all along.

    Peace & let it flow,
    Jen.
