I am 19 and am at university studying Astrophysics :-) I write a lot of poetry, on all sorts of topics, whenever i am inspired, which surprisingly is quite often. I often write one or two poems a week, and i try to vary the topics, sometimes i write specifically for a contest rather than writing a poem and matching a contest to it... anyways i love poetry

The Friday sun bears down again
As we drive with our friends
And on these longest days we spend
All the time trying to pretend
That our stories could be true
Wanting to be cool
The setting sunset says the day is through
