Hello
I am from Canada and I am retired (great)
Just turned 72 (getting old sucks)
I was born in Prince George B.C. (yuks)
Our family moved to Surrey B.C. (I was 6 years old)
We came by train (I was seasick all the way)
We thought we came to heaven from hell (lol)
We arrived at Beautiful B.C. Canada (best country on Earth)
Live on a small hobby farm ( yes it needs to be subsidized)
Have a beautiful wife Phyllis of 50 years (how did she ever put up with me?)
We Have 8 children (6 handsome boys and 2 goregous daughters )
17 grandchildren - 3 great-grand chidren (beautiful bunch)
My parents came to Canada in 1929 from Hrvatska (Croatia)
I still speak the language (enough to get by)
I believe in God - (the creator of all things seen and unseen)
I believe the Theory of Evolution is a scientific impossibiliy (well I know it is)
I do believe in the BIG BANG FACT - (God ordered it)
I believe the sound from the "Big Bang" was beautiful music
My first car was a 1949 Meteor 2 door (what a lemon)
My trade is wooden boatbuilding and lofting and carpentry
My first poem to go online was "The Lowly Mole" (a personal favorite)
My most "Where did that come from?" poem was/is "Two Poles"
I believe President Barack Hussein Obama is the best
Love writing poetry more than I like reading it - lol
Have a female cat named Misha (wrote a poem for her) "Misha"
Another female (hussy) cat named Charlie (kuz she has a Charlie Caplin mustache)
She had 6 kittens last batch - 5 batches off kittens in 2 years + (energizer kiddy)
Should write a poem for her too (think of a title for me - okay)
We have 4 laying hens (that my grandkids hatched for a home school project)
Give unto Caesar that which is Caesars and to God that which is Gods
I plan to write a book of my poems and short real life happenings
and a few choice jokes I picked up along lifes journey - lol -(no holds barred)
I have been accused of being "The Scientist Poet" - lol - (old unromantic Joe)
by an Iranian Belly dancer (and could she dance) phewwwwww
I believe that God gave man dominion over the earth and the plants -
and every creeping thing - for our use - (not abuse)

Yes, He is always fighing our battles and I leave them to Him, especially the ones against my demons.
