It is time
To shed this veil of darkness
And raise my spirit to divine altitudes
It is time
To cease this quest
For a person I will never be
It is time
To crawl out of my shell
And polish my rough edges
It is time
To look in the mirror
And embrace my reflection
It is time
To shed this negative energy
That is consuming my soul
It is time
To embrace who I have become
And start breathing again

I have been trapped in the same routine
The record refusing to play
(My finger keeping down the pause button)
I have endured the silence for too long
A proud scientist I have become
(Working life has grown on me)
I write to convey my emotions
Diminish the chaos before I go to sleep
(I embrace the world and all that will be)

Divina love on August 11, 2006He there, I did add you to my favorites but I haven't been on AP for some time, I come once in awhile, but I am too busy to read stuff. I hope when my life is back on track I can start reading and writing poetry again. Hope to see you around

JustifiedChaos on August 11, 2006Hi, I noticed that you had added me to your favorites list. You'd probably done this a while ago, and I don't often check to see who's added me. Thank You. I hope you like what you've read, and I hope to speak with you sometime. I love your profile and I understand how long and treachrous(bad spelling)the journey to discovering yourself as yourself can be. But here is my advice, care what others think, but care more what you and those whose word you value, more. We are all individual in some way, and maybe the world isn't ready for it just yet, but it's who you are and that's what matters.
