Hey there! My name is Kaylee Fox and I live in the U.K

 

 

 

SOME OF WHAT I WRITE MAY BE TRUE IN REAL LIFE BUT SOME IS ALSO FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF OTHERS OR WHAT I READ/SEE IN THE NEWS OR AT WORK.

 

                                 

 

                    

 

 

  I am a very caring person and will probably work in the Health Care sector for the rest of my working life

 

- I used to work in an EMI (Elderly Mentally Ill) care home for 4 1/2 years.

- I now work as an Auxillary Nurse (HCA) at the local hospitals, Disabled childrens' Unit where they go for respite or carehomes within the community.

- I love working on most of the wards at the hospital especially A&E Because I am CRAZY.... and love Drama. I am on the Bank agency which means I get put here, there and everywhere within the hospital and the Community.

- I have a Permanent Contract on Cheetham Hill Ward with the elderly (dementia and Alzhiemers)

 

                

 

 

Where and when did I start writing poetry?

 

I started writing poetry when I was going through my therapy at the Hospital. I was diagnosed with BPD- Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety etc and the poetry was my way to cope and it became a clutch to me.

 

This website has made me become a much better writer, I have made so many friends here and each day there is something new to learn and I really enjoy reading other people's work and commenting on them!

 

I am normally always on this website as a gold member.

 

I write here so that I can expand on my knowledge of different forms of poetry, write lighter poems and not focus too deeply into the dark.

 

I DO have another account where I write on the darker side of life.... only special friends are allowed there sorry...some stuff can be quite triggering to some people

 

 

My vision on life has had a huge turn around and I am planning on writing my own book to show other people with BPD that there is a life worth living
 

My hobbies that I fit into my life are:

Writing poetry,

working out at the Gym

Horse-riding,

Swimming,

Scuba Diving (Advanced Open Water),

Bowling,

Crazy golf! (yeh I got addicted to that in Florida)
Going to the cinema,

Shopping (when I have the money),

Card making,

Photo Editing

Modelling

Taking mums dog for walks down the beach

Bingo... great fun.. and a cheap social night out

Drinking coffee in Costa or Nero's -->

(to you Americans it's like Starbucks)
and socialising with friends when I have the time.

- I've done a 15,000ft Tandem Parachute jump for my 21st birthday which was excellent!
