My real name is Deborah, but you can call me Debbie.
I love to write. Mainly poetry, but short stories and essays when I have the time. If you happen to stumble upon my poetry, I ask that you please give me some constructive criticism. Any feedback that you have to offer would be greatly appreciated. Most of my writing is rhyme, although once in a while you will catch me doing freeverse and prose. My taste in poetry varies, for the most part, I enjoy any write that evokes emotion from this dark heart of mine.
I am currently in the process of getting my first poetry book published by PublishAmerica, it is in its editing phase right now. I plan on publishing more in the near future and eventually writing my autobiography.

Wherever I go, my camera goes with me. I absolutely love photography, it's my passion, it's my life. I work with a Nikon D90, which I keep equipped with an 18-200mm lens. It's pretty damn sharp, then again, it should be after what I paid for it. 
 
I live and breathe music. If I could, I wouldn't go a single minute without listening to something.
 
I love my son, above all things. He is my little piece of heaven, and I call him that because basically-if you've seen his eyes, caught a glimpse of his smile, heard his laughter, felt his spirit...heaven is the only way to describe it.

DC, your writing is amazing to me.
I always read, even if it seems I don't see.
My inspiration, sometimes comes from you.
I can relate to the abuse, cause I recently dealt with it to.
Now we're both stronger, and living a better life.
It's even been awhile, since I reached for a knife.
Sorry I haven't been around lately, I've been so busy .
Hey I miss talking to you, and reading your IM's.
Even when life gets crazy, you'll still remain a close friend.
Don't forget, good times or bad, a real friendship never ends.

Completely incredible, the rhymes that you write.
About anything and everything, your words come to life.
Pick up a pen, pour your heart out through ink.
Amazing, how your thoughts make others think.
Complicated issues, love, depression, and even abuse.
It doesn't matter what the story is, I love the imaginary you use.
To only you I wrote this, I hope its okay.
Your a true poet DC, don't ever forget you'll always be my fave.

    Beautiful background...I relate alot with butterflies.
    Hope your day is going well, thank you for doing that contest seeing others and seeing how they deal with scars and emotinal issues is helping me heal so much and I hope that when they write down thier words that they feel relief love and acceptance flow through them...I keep goign back to read others work In fact I made a few friends and hopefully we will all heal together, and use the keyboard for releasing of feelings instead of a blade or drugs or anyhting that we will regret later..
