Do you want to know the truth?
Because you won’t be able to handle it.
I am mixed up girl
In my own mixed up world.
My truth holds not happiness but pain,
My mind holds thoughts of hate not love.
When I think there is nothing to live for
My result is a pain and tears
I want things to go right for a change
And for you to love me again and again.
But could you handle my truth?
Could you handle my world?
Would you be able to be mine?
Could you handle my pain and all that I have lost?
And forgive me when I do something wrong?
Or will you walk away and never look back?
This I need to know because I can’t handle my heart being broken again.
Alone in a room
Shaking with fear
Silent tears fall
Disrupting a prayer
Shivers rise up
From a cold concrete floor
Pain burns through a soul
Right to its core
The darkness surrounds him
There will never be light
Crouched and quivering
Water hinders his sight
For him hope is none
The end is quite nye
He has only to wait
To wait and to die
she stares at me longingly
i wait for the words
she opens her mouth and says nothing
i just blink and shudder
i suddenly feel cold and sick
i wait longer for her voice to shake me outta it
still nothing comes from her mouth
she moves her lips soundlessly
and i feel myself wanting to touch her face
yet she seems so far away
finally after a few more moments she hugs me and whispers silently the words that make me feel better she had whispered the words i love you now suuddenly almost as fast as it started it ended
and i know now we will always be together forever
in this once a lonely place...
Hey Guys; my name's Breanna and I've been writing "poetry"/songs for about 3 years now. I didn't like to show what I wrote a lot at first, but the people that did see it, thought it was really good, so someone showed me allpoetry, and I've kinda just kept it up. I haven't written a lot lately, it's been really busy, and it seems I've had "writers block" for like ever! But I hope to get some new ones on here soon.I'm working on a few, but they need endings or titles or just a little help... Anyways, Check out what I've got so far, and let me know what you think...
