My name is (*)*Arêêßå*(*) and I’m a 15 year old girl living in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. I started liking poetry in 6th grade… when all the angst started to built up inside and needed to pour out a paper. When I joined AP, I started to write even more poetry. I started out by writing dark poetry… but not the cutting type. Some poems have such strong emotions that I have kept them to my self and haven’t posted it up.

I’ve never traveled outside of Asia… I think I can be fun once you get to know me.. I absolutely love techonology.. it’s advancing day by day..makin’ ur life easier and more fun lolz.. ppl say it makes u duller but ur are incharge of how u live ur life and u can change it. Time and health are the most precious blessings given to you and you shouldn’t just take it for granted. I have learned that you don’t have to change, disguise, hide or be ashamed of your own passion. It can be silly and uncool to others but you don’t have to make excuses for liking something. I have compassion for the poor and needy.. I’m not the kind of person that lets go easily.. I don’t give up..I think you should accept ppl as they are and don’t expect too much from them.. cuz then u’ll be disappointed and nobody is perfect. People who think they are perfect havn’t really been exposed to different aspects of life... Overconfidence is not too good.. If you have rarely experienced any failures, humiliations, or hardships, you would assume that life is that easy… I think those things make u a stronger person.. . Sometimes you regret your actions.. but you shouldn’t spend too much time in the reverie of how things could’ve been.. Life’s too short for that.. There is so much to do in so little time.. pursue your goals, don’t wait.. and hang in there… cuz I believe life is full of possibilities and YOU gotta make things happen yourself!

GAYA:I can't believe you're only 13! Your poetry is outstanding. If you're this skilled at 13, I can't imagine how awesome you'll be when you're 22!

I also enjoyed your author page. It was interesting reading about India and Saudi Arabia. There is a bias in America that in those places women are invariably miserable and oppressed. You are a fine example that that is not always the case, as you seem educated and happy to be where you are. I also suspect that you are better educated than the average American 13-year-old, as your grammer is nearly perfect! I've never seen a 13-year-old with such flawless grammer, and this includes when I have read over my old journals!

I don't write poetry muchh anymore... all my poetry is written wen i was in middle school from age 11 to 14... I like to design backgrounds, layouts and edit pics and do digital scrapbooks n such now.
