Most of my poems come to me when I am just waking up, falling asleep, or spacing out. They write themselves. Some are based on life experiences, some are not.
It has been said, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Well, Hell must not of ever seen a pissed off Mother!"
Love is like a booger,
You keep picking at it until you get it,
Then you wonder what to do with it.

A multitude of memories of who I was before,
Lay all around me, -
Woman so old,
Her beauty now lost in folds, -
Arms outstretched with heart in my hand
I stand waiting in emotional quicksand. -
Bitter sweet tears line my face,
I want to stay but that’s not the case,
