I live for a God that is not a dream. He is completely and wholly real. My Father, my Master and my Friend. I live for, I breathe for, I write for...
A God with the gentleness to gentle tap the rhythm of hummingbird's beating heart.
A God with the humor to create the duckbilled platypus.
A God with the hands to carve out the oceans.
A God with the romance to create roses and significant looks and whispered sweet-nothings and wedding day kisses and fifty-year anniversaries and the kind of love that burns my eyes, my soles, my soul, my lungs, the back of my throat, my tongue, my hands...my heart.
A God that speaks to me in a way that goes beyond ceremony and tradition...telling me jokes as I walk to the bank...telling me things about myself as I go for a run...showing me how great he is by giving me the grace and joy to smile at those I meet, and rewarding me with a smile in return...
Life is so much more than religion...life is so much more than anything I could ever dream of...
My God is great enough that it doesn't matter what anyone says about him. I will smile and live for him anyway.
For my God is the only God.
Don't believe me? That's okay. Want to tell me why I'm wrong? Alright.
Let me know. Let's go grab some coffee. I'd like to hear what you're thinking...and how your day has been.
Blessings to all who would accept,
C
