"Sooo...what's with all the "form" poetry? You might ask. A short while ago, Don (haikumonk) asked me if I was interested in writing a structured list of the different poetry forms with an example for others to use as a sort of guide. I initially refused, with the rather weak excuse that it would take too much of my time, but I have had second thoughts about the idea. With your kind indulgence, I will gradually try to present a poem and an explanation of the form in as many different forms as I can muster the effort to write in and present them here for your critical view. If I am a tad slow in responding to any comments you leave for me, I swear I am going to fall back on that weak old excuse of mine (you know...the one about being busy...lol) but never fear, your comments are being read, appreciated and I am grateful to you one and all.

M.A.King on June 16Del, I started losing interest in writing when you passed and it has never really been the same. This site has not felt the same since you are no longer here. Miss you still.
