It is this simple. God said it. I believe it ! And, I live it. I have been a writer since my soul was created by Him. I am what He has me to be and I am clay in His hands; in awe of the changes taking place in me. I am a Mother and GrandMother. I am a care-taker. I watch over my Dad and our Wanda. I am a first born. I was made responsible from the first breath I breathed and I have always taken it seriously. I am also silly, and funny, with inate humor; the kind that allows me to laugh at myself. My poetry reflects my life; some of it sweet, some very sad; some extremely painful . Most of it reflects the joy and hope of Christ. There are a few pieces that reflect what happens when it is a fence we straddle with no true salvation. Each of us must make the decision to accept Christ as our personal Savior, to believe He is the risen son of God and it is only through Him that we will see grace and the glory of forever.
I hope you stop by and read my work. There are many poems dealing with grief and loss and the walks leading in and the healings leading out. There are poems for the abused and unloved. There are direct truths. I am a humanitarian. I write mainly free verse but you will find some rhyme, some meter, and an awful lot of me reflected on these pages.
God Bless !

Hope Angel on November 9I can relate extremely well to the tidbit about yourself. It's really amazing the changes God brings in us when we give it all to him. Tomorrow will be my one year mark of being Christian and I'd liked to say that I will be turning one year old. It's the first year of my life that I knew what living was.
Anyway, I will be checking out some of your poem soon.
Hope you have a great day.
