I'm a New Orleans native. My backgrounds are French, Scottish, Dutch, Swedish, English, German and Cherokee.
I am a National Honor Society Graduate, I majored in Math and English and minored in Spanish.  

I  am newly married to my present husband Michael. He is the love of my life, his humor and support have helped me to stay sane in this crazy world!

I have a son and daughter in-law expecting my first grandchild in August.

I have always loved poetry and reading. I have written poetry since I was a young girl, usually for special occasions for family.
My mother used to read poetry to all of her five children from the book  "The Treasury Of The Familiar".

She is proficient in writing, an artist, and her poetry and limericks are published. Some of her art appears in my page.

My father (deceased) wooed my mother by reading poetry to her when they were dating.
(So as you can see poetry is a part of my heritage.)
I like to play poker games on the computer, sometimes I win really big then loose it all (glad it's just a game).

I love the rain, geneology and music but most of all I love people!
