My name is Dawn, kinda. but, i wont get into that. i'm 15 years old, half Malaysian and half Texan, only 5'0 for the rest of my life, and i am in high school, freshman year. i guess you could say that i'm so smart that i'm stupid, says my best friend. she knows that i have the intelligence, i just don't use it. well, that isn't really all that true. i do use it, but i'm afraid to show it sometimes. now, if i do, then people are just freakishly amazed. lol well, one of my outlets of expression is, obviously, through poetry. i admit, i don't do it as often as i should, being a silver member on here, but i do do it and lately, my words have gotten wiser, wittier, and more emotional.

i'm one who LOVES quotes that express who i am. i don't believe that anyone should be perfect and i DEFINITELY don't believe that you are meant to do something. i think that everyone has the chance to do EVERYTHING!!!! those who are one-trackers, i'm saying do more than what you do best. who knows, you may hate what you do best but love what you do the worst. that is SO me. i suck at so many things, but i enjoy them enough to keep on doing it!

i love music. music is my way of calming down, getting crazy, and my noise maker when i think it's too quiet. i play the flute and i am currently learning the guitar at the slowest rate POSSIBLE, though i do impress a lot of people. i currently also like to write lyrics. it's probably the easiest way for me to write poetry because, no matter what, i have a melody in my head.

i am also a dancer. this goes under music as well, but i think it deserves its own little paragraph. i took years of dance training and now that i'm in high school, i have signed up for Winterguard. we are the dancers that run around with overly-sized flags and big pieces of wood covered in tape that looks like a rifle during marching band season. also, during Winter, we dance in the gym to contemporary music such as my first year's performance, Gray Street by the Dave Matthews Band and last year's performance, I'll Be by someone i forgot. it takes good timing and body control, which i think is one of my strengths. so, i love it. i love all of my guardie friends, and may i hopefully not get in trouble with my parents so i can continue to do winterguard through senior year.

yup, i'm back. finally. i took the biggest hiatus in the history of hiatuses. if, that's a word. but, i'm back. i've been busy writing a few things. i've come up with a new story that i think is a bit better than my College Love one. so, pray i remember to write more. also, i've been writing songs during class lately... by the way, i'm a junior now!!! so happy! 2 more years and i'm outta here! i'm deeply in love with my boyfriend. so, once again, pray i get stuff done!
