Most of the poetry I write is based off my personal experiences and/or those I learn about from others. Many deal with pure emotion, others with scattered logic... none of them are really sane in what they mean, so don't expect them to mean much to you - they don't make much sense to me most of the time.
I'm a college student who happened to get a little bit of a head start on school. I'm currently working on and English major with a focus in composition and editing... after which I'll be going on to get a Master's in my field of preference, whatever that happens to be at the time.
Though college and what little social life I have seem to take up most of my time, I still seem to have to much extra time on my hands. So instead of actually looking for a new life on discount, I take up my time writing poetry of this, that, and the other thing. I've just become enlightened to the joys of hosting contests, and though I won't be having them often, summer is a good time to look for them. I love the idea of helping people with inspiration, so any time you need to talk, IM me, I'd love to chat!
