I am the Mother Corruptor.
What happens to an Angel who falls from grace?
I fell... and I'm no worse for wear. I was crucified on a proverbial cross. They said I was brash, opinionated, arrogant, self-absorbed... just to mention a few. Unlovable, untrustworthy, unloyal were their words.
So I died, and was reborn.
A new Angel... a Fallen Angel. I rose to the expectations of my Daemonic kin. Joined forces with my love - Abaddon, and my sons - Glasyalabolas and Abigor.
My sister - Raivynn, and my pet - Naberius, travel beside me through my journies.
We guard and protect each other. For eternity.
As Raven, however, I am a mom of three, married to my best friend and I'm a minister, teacher, counsellor, artist. I am usually found deep in my books about Ancient Egypt, Ancient Polynesia, Shamanism or Tolkien stories. I am a Pagan... pure Egyptian tradition but not Kemetic. I also study Shamanism - both Warrior Shamanism and Adventurer Shamanism.
Musically, I enjoy mainly metal but any music with a good vibe will satisfy. My favourite band/biggest obsession is the Finnish symphonic metal band, Nightwish. Alot of my writing is inspired by the writing of Nightwish's songwriter/keyboardist, Tuomas Holopainen. I like Amorphis, Tarot, For My Pain as well. For rock, I like Nickelback, Hinder and older bands from the 60s. I could list them all but that would take way too long.
In literature, I love Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, Prof. J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Michael Romkey... anything that deals with the macabre. In non-fiction, I read Serge Kahili King, Muata Ashby, and E.A. Wallis Budge, primarily, for my Egyptian and Shamanic studies.
Movies? Lord of the Rings tops them all! Then I like Rob Zombie's movies, X-Men, Ghost Rider, The Godfather Trilogy, Jaws, Easy Rider.... like my music, I could go on and on and on...
I've been writing poetry for years and years, although, I have been far too self-critical to publish them until now. I also write short stories and I rant. I rant alot, but that's not appropriate for here lol
I have a morbid sense of humour and some even say I'm a little sarcastic. I've been called everything you can possibly imagine, and I laugh about it. Have fun and enjoy your time here, because no one gets out alive.

My sister, Minx, and I had united as an unstoppable force. Of course, there are three sides to every story. Our third side came in the guise of Raivynn, the third sister. We are the strong. We are the immortal. And every

McRae by nature on December 1, 2008Wohooo, another Nightwish fanatic. I am so incredibly obsessed that if you cut my skin, I would probably bleed Nightwish.
I would love to check out some of your inspired works.
I actually wrote a piece for Tuomas that I think you would appreciate. I'll send you the link.
Much Love

Shassidy : From a Fellow Nightwish Fan on April 27, 2008Hi!
I don't usually leave guestbook entries for people whom I do not know, but I wanted to let you know that I read a couple of your poems and they are really great! I love them and, from the perspective of a fellow Nightwish fan, they reflect a lot of the ideas of Nightwish in a new twist, which I really love. Keep writing!!!

Glasyalabolas on September 12, 2007"Why is this author great?"
Let me ponder this.....I dunno if I can say it here, kiddies eyes, and all that.
No, seriously, why is this author great? As they say where I come from:......
"CAUSE SHE'S GID!" So there.
