Let's see, first, my name is Darathinas, Dara for short if you please. Anyways, I like writing poetry, its easy, it easy not to rhyme I mean. My style is.... unknown. I wouldnt be able to figure it out myself.
I love DDR, by the way. Its a lot of fun, if you play, you'll understand what 8 footers mean. lol. I am on heavy, can perform and pass 8 footers, but 9 footers are killer! I have beaten HVAM, and working on Break Down.
Anyway. I truly do like to write. I have been kinda empty on ideas, mainly because school consumes 99 percent of my time and it's hard to write or read on my own free will. But I'll be darned if I haven't had any good story ideas that I got major writer's block on.
Please read my works! They aren't bad, and aren't long! Yay!

I'm not one to read or write angsty poems. I kinda think they're overrated, and it's much more fun and interesting to read a happy poem. I love to write poems that rhyme, since they seem much easier to read, and ten times much more enjoyable. If I ever have a contest, hopefully I will soon, I will make sure to make it rhyming and happy, since I really can't stand to read too much angst. The poem Death and Despair does rhyme, and it isn't bad at all. I wrote it because I felt like it, and when it was written I was fed up with people who did commit suicide, because they're idiots. I had also read a manga about it (I think it was one Confidential Confessions) and I was inspired by her descriptions. Anyway. Have fun reading it all.

I am a HUGE MONSTRO Star Wars Fan. Hayden Christensen happens to be the sexiest Jedi ever. I truly enjoy the movies though, they are the greatest and absolute best. People who hate Star Wars only hate it for these reasons: They watched them out of order; they watched them but didn't want to sound like a nerd; watched them IN order but tried very hard to find major plot flaws in the film that do not exist. I am not kidding. DO NOT EXIST. If you didn't understand the movie, don't talk about what you think is wrong with it. The movies are as clear as black on white. So cut those poor persecuted Star Wars fans some slack!

I do like other things besides Star Wars... I do have a life =D!

I love French, and even though I'm not very good, I thoroughly enjoy the language. If you wish to chat with me in French, I'll be happy to confuse you with my terrible linguistics.

I hate rap music. I think it is dirty, and really, it shouldn't be called music. I do like AFI, No Doubt, some Gwen Stefani, lots of Japanese music, Avril Lavigne, and old Michael Jackson. I like alot of things, I even like Charlotte Church! I'm pretty versatile in my music and book selections, I read from manga books to fantasy books to teen novels to mysteries...

I have been recently suffering from that accursed Writer's Block. It is really an evil pain, and has been taunting me and tying up my great story ideas. I'm not a poetry person, really. I'm a story person, but writer's block likes to come around and hit me in the head alot.

Speaking of hitting, I really like Karate. I'm a Second Level Junior Black and recently, I did a PERFECT spinning side kick to an opponents jaw during a sparring session. It was absolutely beautiful. Anyway, I really like soccer and tennis, but I'm absolutely NO GOOD at tennis.

Please read my poem "imagery", "Ribbons" and "Death and Despair". They are my favorite ones, and if you're into Baltimore culture, you might want to look at "O Baltimore". I think I am going to revamp that one though.

I only accept constructive criticism on my work. I'm working on editing my existing works so don't pester me if you find something sucky about them. Message me with the suggestion instead of leaving a derrogatory comment, sil vous plait. Don't make me go read YOUR works too and lay down some smack.
