Although I really enjoy writing poems, I stopped writing last year. I took a short hiatus. I'm not really sure why... I just fell out of the habit. However, now, on the FOURTH anniversary of my joining allpoetry, I am back. I'm glad you came to my homepage. Look around if you would like. About My Writing
A lot of my earlier poems are about my infant neice who was murdered.
I was depressed for a long time...
And then one day I looked out of my window and the sun was shining.
I believe that life is a struggle, but it's beautiful.
The Harder the battle the more glorius the triumph.
I found happiness in the form of love.
Love for myself, my friends, family.
A deep love for my best friend, who a year ago (4.10.08) became my boyfriend and so much more. A great thanks to Harlan. A man who taught me to love everything and to live life to its absolute fullest.
I also found love in my small puppy. His name is Sammy. It may sound odd, but he has given me a greater joy than you can imagine.
So, more recently, my poems are generally upbeat, unless of course, I get inspiration for a fictional piece.
If things are bad, and you're going through hell, just keep going, don't slow down. Don't look down. Don't look back.
