My name is Old Doc Wit and I am one of the Greeters here at AllPoetry . I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to this wonderful site. This is a great place to come and nurture your writing skills. There are many ways to do this: reading other poet’s work, entering into contests, joining classes and / or reading works from AllPoetry’s sister site www.oldpoetry.com .
As a new member, you will notice that you have a 4-day trial Silver Membership. Once those four days are up, don’t worry, you will still be able to post your work, and comment on other’s work as well, you just won’t have the perks that a membership provides to you. If you are interested in maintaining your membership, you can purchase one from our Store.
Free members of AllPoetry get two “free posts” per day, then must comment 4 times for each item posted. Those items include: poems, stories, contest poems, and contests, but not lists.
If you ever need
with anything, there is a Help tab at the top of the page. Or you can contact any one of the Moderators or Greeters . We are all here to help you with any questions you might have. Simply click on the (IM) next to the name and send us a message.
