I have difficulty criticizing poetry because it is the expression of how someone feels. Most of my poetry is inspired. Rarely do I sit down and say "I'm going to write a poem," more often I get inspiration while at work or riding a motorcycle, or seeing a sunset. Sometimes, however, I just write silly things.
I love nature and the beauty of God's creation. I have many beautiful feelings that I try to express. I like to write humorously as well. Some of my stuff is a little on the depressing or scary side (most of that hasn't been posted yet) and other things are happy and care-free. Even those, however, often have a hidden, underlying meaning to me.
I do desire to become a better writer, in every way. Although I don't really know how to criticize the poetry of others, I myself welcome constructive criticism. I'm looking to learn how to do that too.
I have difficulty trusting, deep down. I hope to someday adequately express that as well.
In some ways, my life is a cinch. In other ways, it is difficult. I'm thankful for both; too much difficulty, and I might go under. Too much ease, and I'd be bored out of my mind. Fortunately, God knows exactly how much each and every person can take. He also likes to save me from myself.
Yeah, you wanted my life story, right? I just hope that you enjoy my poetry, and maybe even get something out of it.

Boom! Each second sends quakes through my world
As I count the minutes, seconds 'til class concludes -
He snuggles up beside me
In my most forbidden refuse9 lines, January 26, 2006. In Humor -
In the eighth winter, counting
Contemplating us again. -
Molli my girl My happy little puppy You meant, to me, the world. You were my first And a treasure to me My protector, companion, friend.<

I'm sorry I've not been around lately. I've just been trying to get through life, I suppose. I started substitute teaching, and I have another relationship now. This is going to be a hard term for me, because I'm taking quite a few hard classes; more than I took the entire year we first met. I'm also trying to learn more Spanish than the incredibly small amount that I know. Hehe. It'll be good. I'm going to try to become more regular on here again, at least weekly.
I hope to hear from you again.
