I have been happily married for 35 years to a true southern gentleman, have 2 grown and married sons, 1 step-grandson, and 1 two yr.old granddaughter who is my "heart" and she knows it. I began writing poetry in the early 80's and stopped for some years and recently started again in the past 2 years. I love to get critiques of my poems by other poets on the internet. I also enjoy reading and commenting on other poets' works. I have 5 other poems on this site which are not showing under this profile (??) including "A Hill Too High," "If There Be But One God,"No Strings Attached," Reflections After Attending A Tent Revival Meeting," and "A Personal Letter To My Personal Muse." I usually write rhyming poetry which I find easier than free verse. However, I enjoy reading all kinds of poetry.
