Welcome to Aleee's little corner of poetry, please take a biscuit.
Aleee is a small and quite rabid creature who spends most of her time doodling or writing in her dark pit. Occasionally these time consuming activities are punctuated by copious amounts of cookies, coke and Jagermeister. Those who actually know her say she's quite a nice person, but they're probably lying.
When shes not babbling about things no one else cares about or running around Birmingham being terrorised by pigeons of doom she can often be found right here working on her jaded stock of poetry. Some say shes not too terrible at it, but they're probably lying too.
Meee:
Likes: reading, writing, beat up trucks, having a laugh with my friends, rock/goth clubs/pubs, drawing/painting ^.^ sincerity, long pretty hair, make-up artistry, useless facts, singing when no ones listening, rust, dried blood (in art, not randomly on the pavement, lol), cocktails (poor man's cocaine, gimmie!), jam jars, the smell of paint/nail varnish/marker pens/pritstick, butterfly wings, Chinese takeaways, 18th centuary Parisian aristocratic fashion, MONICLES, tudor dresses, Georgian dresses, Victorian dresses, eye patches, scratchy writing, big hats, films, glow sticks, learning of random culture, music (and playing it loud) - goth, metal, rock, punk, industrial, classical - etc, cookies, stars, playing piano, the dark, stand up comedy, making a mess, interesting and obscure animals, my kitty and hamster, finding money on my floor, lie-ins, soft quilts, long drives with my friends at obscene times in the early morning, warm socks, paperclips, dice, celtic knotwork, rambling off by myself, spikes, east europe, colourful pens, leather, chunky black boots *licks New rocks*, multicoloured beads and many other shiny things, chains, belts, my sexy coat, history, abnormal psychology, philosophy, mythology, stomping people who get in my way, black, bubbles, shiny sharp things, pink shower foam, shoe laces, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, pipe cleaners, kinkyness, biting, dragonflies, broken glass, feathers, glitter, lip peircings, silver jewellery I probably can't afford, tatoos, MUCH SUGAR and swirly lollipops, cheese, scarves and socks and stripey things (especially my amazing pants), buckles, hot chocolate, spoons, sporks, sparkly gems, miniature things, raindrops, pink stationary, cameos, figurines, my turtle collection, kitkats, interior design, architecture, relaaaaaxing, gigs, woods, sports with possible carnage, the Russian accent, white flowers, suarve and extravagant criminal masterminds, Coca coooola, being all schnuggly in bed, the smell of vanilla/ strawberry/ lynx africa/ hugo boss silver/ freshly cut grass/ clean sheets, the sound of smashing glass, bubblewrap, dappled light through leaves, the ocean, 80's cartoons (Thundercats!! lol) ...
Dislikes: Snoring, scars, rude people, very cold weather, very hot weather, insomnia, wanting to play with pointy things, having no moneys, people crowding me , talking about 'important things', lack of motivation, food that tastes crappy but that I have to eat because its 'healthy', people who stare, people asking me stupid questions I dont want to answer, younger brothers, the drive towards apocolypse we seem to be bent on, coffee ick, people when they're not who you think they are, moths attacking me in the shower, sweatyness eww, being on icky trains, ice because it makes me fall over, backhair!!! People who can't laugh at themselves, 'getting over' things even though its nessicary, the word nessicary because i don't think i can spell it,
other cars on the road when i'm learning how to drive, too much possessiveness, people invading my privacy, people totally over reacting to stuff, sleeping pills, sour old people, narrowminded ignorant assholes, organised religion, crowded buses, screaming children, people who try and force their opinions on me, condescending people, people lol, bigotism, self-pity, sleazy old drunken foreigners trying to cop a feel at the bus stop, rigid stereotypes, cheesy pick up lines, when ink from newspapers gets on my fingers, the constant ache in my shoulders, how my pockets always seem to be full of bus tickets but no ten pound notes, cold showers, warm flat coke, twitchy eyes, 6000 word essays about the German Economy, liars, cheaters, myself, when there is no JD and Cookies, airheadedness, indie music, emo music, pop music, unreliability, facial hair on most guys (though i'm pretty sure i dont find it attractive on a woman either, lol), getting up early, writer's/artists block, fat on bacon, rind on cheese, crusts on bread, the smell of sewage, soggy egg white, nose piercings, when my socks get holey, the overuse of 'life' rhyming with 'strife' o.O ... i'll stop now...
What else can be said? I'm a dark romantic, can be somewhat cynical though I wouldn't say I've entirely given up on human decency (not far off though
) and I am extremely creative. I don't feel right if I'm not making something. I love history, culture, art, literature, music psychology and travel. My friends are extremely important to me.
I constantly wear black. I'd like to start a cameo collection but can't afford it.
If I write more about myself you might get an over-dose and die, so...
Oh, but I plan on ruling the world someday. It would be wise to join me now
I write because: if I don't my hand twitches and my brain itches. Its possible that if I go too long i'll seize up and die. Or explode. Cool as that may be...i'll not take the chance. Like everyone else who writes, I generally do it to 'express'. Where I fail miserably at talking about how I feel, I'm quite good at penning it down poetically...sometimes. That and I love words. Occasionally, I write 'just because' - about things i've seen or randomly thought of.
My poetry can be a bit of a mixed bag i guess; I write an awful lot of (or a lot of awful) dark/morbid poetry but thats how I like it, thats where my creative juices really overflow (mmm juices). But theres some love poetry (though sure, most of thats pretty dark too) and even a few inspirational pieces (somewhere) and some that i had trouble catagorising at all. They're not all personal, so if i say 'I' it doesn't nessicarily mean me, though I draw on experience for a great deal of them. Some of them are okay and some are them just...aren't, but this is a site to improve your poetry, right? So i'll keep all the crappy ones up too, lol.
My email addy is: Crazy_shrew@hotmail.com if you want to talk to me or have any questions about my work.

Wandering Woodchuck on May 20, 2008I enjoy your poetry very much. Alot of it is dark and disturbing. I do not write free verse but I can appreciate it, and I find yours to be consistently of great quality. Your selection of words always evokes strong imagery. I always look forward to a new piece by you.
