I'm just like all of you, I've loved and lost, had some good times, and some bad. Like most of the people on this site, I hope to be published someday; if not, then the enjoyment I’ve gotten from reading and commenting on all of your work has been enough.
My writing is the result of a random thought, grabbed, and nurtured; twisted and matured into something that I am proud to present to the world.
You won’t ever see anything from me that hasn’t been run through spell-check, and grammar-check, and probably edited several times. I’m not saying that is the right way to do things, it is just the way that I do things.
The applause system, and the points associated with them, is one of the truly wonderful things on AP. You won’t see my work in many contests, for a variety of reasons. What I really enjoy, is wandering this site reading other’s work. The applause, and supportive comments that we leave, can, and do, have such an impact on our fellow member’s days, motivations, and attitudes. Try to take the time to spread some of your points around, it might encourage a new person, or someone suffering from the dreaded “BLOCK” to write another poem versus just giving up and leaving.
I hope everyone that reads my work enjoys it; it is a pleasure to entertain you, and to come to know you.
A Quote by Muslih-uddin Sadi:
If, of thy mortal goods, thou art bereft,
And from thy slender store two loaves
alone to thee are left,
Sell one and from the dole,
Buy Hyacinths to feed your soul
