i tend to write best when i am unhappy and depressed (like most poets, i guess). i am 20 but yet I've gone through what i see as hell and back again, though i never have made it all the way back..i've had my trials and tribulations and my suicidal tendencies, but now i just write..it releives so much to be able to just write how i feel.
My poem "Stereotyped" is pretty much my autobiography, in a sense - it's what i see as my background, the reasons i am as i am an write as i write.
Enjoy.

My Poetry
-
I fix my gaze upon the perfect lunar sphere
With immense radiance stretching forth across the heavens. -
Born unto this world as all are,
I found myself compared, stereotyped, to all the rest. -
What is a dream?
A manifestation of the unconscious mind. -
The clouds gather around
Turning the skies a dull grey.
My Stories
-
Why am I so troubled? Why can I have not a positive thought? Why can I not extricate myself from this immense suffering, of which I know not the exact cause? What has happened

CursedAttrition on September 21, 2004ok..i'll try again
Attrition - the gradual degradation/decay in number or strength.
like stress constantly tearing at your mind, making you feel insane. so much is happening that you can feel yourself falling.
like your quote "fades back into shadows"...strength decreases until it is hardly there, then is gone altogether.
is that any better?..
~Cursed Attrition aka Jeff
