Welcome to my corner of AP.

So here's a list of random stuff:

I majored in English in college, but only because my parents didn't want me to major in art.

Turns out, I loved being an English major. I got a weird geeky high from staying up all night writing papers.

I procrastinate.

The last time I ate meat was in 1998. My family has learned to like Boca Burgers, faux chicken, and soy BBQ.

I live in Virginia. Yes, we do occasionally get snow.

I do not have a distinct Southern drawl, although I do say "y'all" often.

I've travelled to France once and the Caribbean three times, but I've never been further west than Indiana and Alabama. One day....

I collect t-shirts, especially ones from foreign countries.

I own my own jewelry/art business, and I sell my wares at craft shows.

Rent and The Phantom of the Opera are among my favorite Broadway musicals. If I win the lottery, I'd spend at least a week in New York just to see the shows.

I sing in a choir. With a bunch of other people. There's a reason.

I have ADHD that wasn't diagnosed until I was 16. I used to be on Ritalin, but I haven't been on medication since I decided I was done with grad school.

My sorry excuse for an attention span drives my husband crazy.

I don't usually notice.

It's kind of nice being in my own world most of the time.

Ooooooh, look at the pretty butterflies......

I'll let my poetry speak for itself, but I would love feedback and constructive criticism.
