What can i really say about myself? i'm 24 and have been writing as a hobby for about 2 years now. Poetry and scholarly works. i speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and quite a bit of Arabic - i'm trying to learn French. you may see a few of my non-english poems (i generally provide translations)

my real job? well, lets just say that probably wouldn't get too many kudos around here. i am a Gentleman and a Professional. if you read, you can probably figure out what i do.

much of my work is oriented around traditional lyric poems. i use the Sonnet more than any other style, and i am quite fond of quatrain poems. from time to time i do some couplet poetry, and have done a few in the old Persian AABA style of Khyyam (any serious student of Poetry or literature should read the Rubyiatt of Omar Khayyam. amazing)some of my inspirations and favorite poets are Edna St. Vincent Millay, Rudyard Kipling, Robert Lewis Stevenson, William Shakespeare, Gabriel Garcia Marques, and Pablo Neruda.

college educated with a degree in International Relations and Foreign Languages. interested in Literature, cultures, music, travel, and freedom. hope to someday backpack across europe - but that doesn't pay the bills, so i'll probably just have to wait till i get sent there.
