Please forgive me as i am at a loss for words...i really have the urge to write, but nothing has been coming to me...at least not enough to write a whole poem...i'm hoping to be back in business soon! You will come to find that not all, but most of my poetry is a little on the sad side. On the contrary, I am really a happy person. The reason for my poems being sad is that when I am down about something, writing poetry is usually the one thing that makes me happy. Many of my poems refer to a 4 year relationship that ended in December, 2004. A good part of my poems are also about the struggle of loving someone, a best friend, who can never know how you feel because they are with someone else. I went through this recently and I wrote about it night after night. Let's just say things had a wonderfully twisted way of working themselves out, and after two years of quietly loving him, I am now engaged to the wonderful man who I refer to in many of my more recent poems. I hope you enjoy what I have to say. If it is your first time on my site, then I would recommend reading "One More Time" first. I also want to thank everyone for all of their comments~I cannot tell you how exciting it is to sign on here and see all the little yellow people bouncing around at the top of my screen clapping! I have had so much fun on this site since I joined. I have enjoyed every bit of reading other people's poems and commenting and reading all of your wonderful comments! Thanks again everyone!!!!
