All I wanted was to be free
To be able to wrap my arms around him
With no one there to stop me
From loving him with all my heart.
My breath comes in gasps
As the heat overtakes me,
I knew this was the way it would end
But I never bothered to leave,
And now I know it is too late
Because my life force is fleeing me.

and you're so young
love arrives in many forms
the more you love
the more your soul unfolds
and loving is much more than just
the physical touch
that we all need so much
its lovely when you can be
best of friends
upon a journey that never ends
just a thought for you
cause beauty can fade

you need a solid foundation
for a love affair to last
