Biblical Healing

I have been praying for healing for a physical ailment for some time now and it's given me the idea for this contest.

Give me a poem about healing in the Bible and put the quote or quotes in your authors comments.

Due to some confusion I'll need to clarify what I mean.
Take an example of healing or teaching on it, anything about healing in the Bible and write about it.

If you can find a C.S.Lewis quote about healing you can write about that and if you manage to combine Bible and Lewis yowsssaaaa I'll throw you 100 points and a bone.

Here's a link to Lewis in oldpoetry though I'm not sure if there's anything about healing in his poetry, I just thought it might be of interest:-

oldpoetry.com/authors/C%20S%20Lewis

Usual necessary rules and I make no apology for them:-

No swearing
No sticky caps
No erotica

I've decided to leave this contest open for longer because I'm loving the entries, they're so helpful and full of wisdom and I would like some more.

for help on your troubles though, just remember Job and how he waited for God's salvation and when it came, his life was even better than before; Don't lose faith despite the obstacles
    hehe that was deep

Well, that was fast. I was healed of the sicknesses caused by religion thanks to the hypocrisy and hatred in the Bible, and you take it out of the contest. Okay, I guess you should've mentioned "Biblical propaganda," not "Biblical healing," because the only cure for religion is a good hearty reading of such an insipid, infantile "book."

I have recently been re reading the new testament and am always amazed at the direct healing that goes on during Christ's life. It constantly speaks of His compassion to those who are ill. This instilled in me the assurance that He not only cares for our spirit but our physical health also. I have also been reading 'Miracles by C.S.Lewis' which may interest you if you have not yet read it.
An good idea for a contest. There are certainly many instances of healing to choose from within the Bible. You have my prayers for healing.

I would like to comment here. Free will is for all and to each his own. Itis not up to us to make anyone accept our views. It is also not up to you to try and make us accept yours. Feel free to communicate on a civil level. This is not judgement day. It is a poetry contest for Bible related healings.
    Go in peace

Wow! UpsideDownFrown is so hung up on all that alleged hypocrisy and hate in the Bible, she can’t even see past her own. How sad, to be a religious bigot, and not even recognize that you are one. And taking the immoral high ground against people minding their own business, while exercising their RIGHT to believe what they like, is typical of this kind of bigotry. Of course, she remains under the delusion that her hypocrisy and hate is somehow different, or better, than that which she accuses the Bible of. Hate is hate UpsideDownFrown, no matter who the bigot is infested by it. By attacking these people for simply believing in God, you’re just exposing the true nature of your hypocrisy. Late.

I'd be honoured if you'd enter my contest. I added that if anybody managed to combine Lewis and the Bible as long as it's about healing I'll give them 100 points.
I'm in the C.S.Lewis Society group so that's what inspired me to add him.

Oh my, I must admit that it has been ages since I read the Bible (I was brought up strictly catholic) However your contest brought to mind a story that as a child really affected me deeply and it was about the healing of Lazarus<---sp? If I recall correctly he suffered from leprocy and was healed inorder to go on and bring comfort to others. I had been very touched by that story. Anyway , I just wanted to sahare that tidbit with you , I wanted to wish you comfort in recovery and I also wanted to wish you a very succesful contest,
    Love through Peace,
