Ah it would be so wonderful if you tried. Sometimes when we start to write our feelings just flow. I never knew I could even write poetry till last year when I tried. I think God will help yiou. Well You see, I'm not a priest. You seemed to have bolded up the word Love for some reason. Jesus is Love. God is love. You see, as a Christian, we are to be "Christ Like" and "Christ minded" Now, for someone to do such things like this, they aren't being Christ-Like and Christ-minded. Which means they are not living for Christ. As a preacher of the word of GOD, we teach Kids about the Love of GOD, and the LOVE OF JESUS and how we should live our lives for GOD. I can't help those that have damaged the name of Christ by doing the things they did. But who am I to judge any one of them? Who are you to judge anyone? Exactly, you have no right to judge them. "Judge not, or you too shall be judged" Yes, it was wrong for them priests to do what they did> But I didn't tell them to do it. So you can try and compare those of us who live for God to those that have committed those crimes, but it won't get you no where. I WILL NOT BE MOVED and I WILL NOT BE SCARED!!! So you can bring all that filth and all those lame excuses as to why you don't believe in Christ and none of them will ever make any sense ever. I spent the majority of my life in church right from childhhod, SUnday School. I was in several church groups I even ran the sound booth at my church and I was a bunch of the church plays. I went on the youth group trips and acceptd Jesus into my heart, I said my prayers I conversed with my pastor. All of it. But for whatever reason here I am today a non-believer. I've looked at it from all angles and as the haze clears the reality of life becomes more and more aparent. Its an easy out. Its a way of coping, it does alot of people good. But I think when taken to extreme its just a bunch of bullshit like anything else that is taken to an extreme. Do you have a better place awaiting you in heaven than a less avid Lover of the lord but a believer none the less?
This religion is non unlike many of the belief systems that have come before it any many many millions of people lived their entire lives in a different time believing in other gods or other religions and following other leaders of other cults in a time before a bible, are they destined to hell. THis is just another Era in the amazingly vast history of the world. More people have fought and died in wars over Religous beliefs than every other reason combined. Countless thousands were slaughtered raped, murdered and beheaded, by the condemning hands of the church. This religion was forced upon many and those who refused to accept it had their homes burned and their children killed. All in the name of God. I feel that legions of people have been blinded by the light and for some its only a matter of time before they see whos holding the light. So get up off you knees research a little bit of mordern theology with an open mind and learn new things explore the history of those who have come before you. You expect others to have an open mind and to explore the possibility of a super being while at the same time you have a very closed mind and refuse to even consider any other possibility. I've been told that god gave man freewill, use it.

My main church was Called the Open Hearts Church. ALso there was Olivet Church and The bullshit First Assembly of God. I was taught about creation and bible studies and being saved. When I attended the big thig was to accept Jesus into your heart and if you did that you would be saved. But I was never taught that I had to be in love with Jesus or that the only life is life with Jesus.

Well, the main things seem that they taught the right things...but it boggles my mind to give your life over to Jesus and not be in love with Him. They just go one in one with each other for me. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Him. You cannot get to Heaven through anyone or anything else. Jesus is Life.

Well, I'm not submitting to this contest, although I am a Christian. But I am very interested to see what conversation goes on on pages like this, and thus I was looking through here and saw King Bongmaster's little debate and figured I would throw my two cents in. I am a Freelance Theologist, taking into account the words of the Bible that say the Berean church was more noble than their other brethren because they searched the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so (as opposed to blindly sittting in a pew and agreeing with everything that is said. I feel sorry for you, KB, I really do. Not because you're "misguided," or "a fool," or because you're going to "burn in hell for all eternity." I actually sympathise with you more than most christians I have met. I feel sorry for you because you have fallen victim to what I refer to as "Them..." Them are bad. Them are the people that have fallen into the Christian mold and have followed after their church rather than their God. Them are the people that say unless you wear a black suit and tie and carry a black Scofield bible under one arm, you aren't right for their church. Them are the people that have faught the wars, led the inquisitions, and gone on countless vain witchhunts throughout history. Listen, buddy. I learned the hard way... Don't ever take God at the face value of his servants. I was kicked out of Bible College on... get this... charges of WITCHCRAFT. Simply because I dared to speak out against what was being taught. I love God no less, and I still enjoy being around other believers, but Them are still bad in my sight, and a great detriment to the cause of Christ. Y'shua spent all his free time hanging around harlots, thieves, and adulterers, and the only time he ever got mad or became upset with anyone was around the religious crowds. You know what the Bible says, KB? God loves YOU more than them... It's in there, and I can prove it. Plus, how can you look at this world and say there is no God? How can you watch a sunrise, or even ponder the fact that, as Einstein said, "In man is a three pound brain which, as far as we know, is the most complex and orderly arrangement of matter in the universe." How can you think that it's completely impossible for God to have spoken the world into existance, but that a big explosion somehow formed all of the necessary elements to make such an orderly, symmetrical, and self-supporting universe as the one in which we live? I beg you to reconsider your thoughts on God. He doesn't want you to be part of any religion. He hates religion (and I can prove that scripturally as well). He wants a personal relationship with you; one that is not built off of what you hear at church or what you learn from discipleship but what you study on your own and come to love without the assistance of anyone else. You make a good point thats for sure. There is no doubt that I hate "Them" and I'm not normally one to stereo-type people but we all do it sometime. I just really don't like it when some whiney teen tells me that I'm going to hell because I don't go on and on and on about profusely being in love with Jesus everyday. It makes me want to get assault charges for cracking their jaw in an attempt to knock some sense into their brainwashed little minds.

Hey Guys, I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for holding this contest. I hope that there will be many more Christian based contests. I apologize for not entering this one. I also will not be entering the other one about writing a poem for Charles either. So, again I am sorry. We just buried my dad last Friday and I am just not quite up to writing anything yet.
