Hello, and welcome to my page!
My name is Nathan, i'm 17 years old and from a little town in Texas. I play alot of guitar, most all kinds of music... not country. Jimi Hendrix is a guitar god, and I hope to someday learn to master the guitar as he did so beautifully.
I started writing a couple years ago when I got onto a prescription of adderal... of course... but since then I have developed an addiction to it, and alot of other things; alcohol, ecstacy, cocaine.... whatever I could get my hands on. My favorite drug was LSD, but seeing as it is a soft drug (non-addictive) I thought I could continue doing it... I was wrong. Phycologically addictive is almost exactly the same as chemically.
Anyway, this continued drug use became a large influence for me in my writing. I write about acid trips, cocaine highs, the experience of detoxing, and of course, how life continued to spiral out of control during the usage.
Well, nine months and two rehabs later, here I am. I have been clean and sober since June 28, 2009 and have loved every second of it. I thank the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous for showing me that there is a way to live life clean.
Today, I can look the world in the face and have no fear, thanks to my friends, family, and the power from which everything I have in my life was derived.
Thank you all.
