An older poet friend whom I admire much, cafégroundzero, motivated or inspired me to search for other poets, to look outside myself to learn from the best what should I do, and from the worst what not to do.
So it is I seek, and I have indeed found. Tonight I'd like to share a discovery by way of a Dutch poet who calls himself björny, who turned me to John Cooper Clark. But who really is he, and what's he doing these days? The site last updated from 2005 leads me to think he's faded, he's out somewhere either serving as a corporal in Afghanstan or Basra, or clerking somewhere in London, Manchester, or Liverpool.
Last planned to be on tour with THE FALL by way of the following link
http://www.visi.com/fall/news/fallnews.html
He was supposed to recite or perform Friday 11th Nov. 2005
The Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
Did anyone see this performance?
The tel. nu. was 0115 9588484

My name is John-Peter Creighton. I heil or hale from the plains or farmland once prairie and forest of Western Illinois. Was born in Galesburg, Illinois, 1st April 1961 to Maria Tereza Badilla deCreighton and Peter macWalter Creighton-Allensworth, son of Mary Allensworth "Mac" Creighton of the Galesburg Post and Knoxville Journal.
I'm almost seven and two score years. Have two children, for some time will still have a wife. Also have a lover, no enemies that I know of, but I manage to piss off enough people that I consider walking on egg shells from time to thyme.
