  Thanks for the comments on "The Funeral." As for what killed her, I purposely don't say so as to both claim poetic license and let the reader's mind draw their own conclusions. There's really no moral to the poem, simply it was my mind at work imagining what such a funeral would be like and who would be there.

  No prob, and you're welcome. Whether you go to Bar 13, NuYorican, or Urbana, good luck, it takes a hell of a lot to make it on their slam teams. Pretty much, every one of those teams makes it to semi-finals every year. Oh and read my poem "So You Lost The Slam"-Curtis
