The world's play yard
Shadow makes pray
of the shining world
where you once trod
In light, so false
Radiant gray
The sea of joy is shallow
you hit the spot
where the sea ran out
With nothing, the grief
is hard to swallow
Sight no longer barred
Existence seem
meaningless and dark
From shadow, you see
The world's play yard
Afar appears another gleam
Blinded you’re lead
back once more
To light, so real
Radiant you scream!

Good evening/morning/night/day to you, and welcome to my profile. May you read and enjoy my humble scribbling. I do appreciate feedback on my poems, and I will return the favour as far as my time allows...
I am from Norway; and so I mainly write in Norwegian. I do however prefer English due to it having about two times as many words to choose from, and I am working on mastering the language even better...
Apart from writing, I am currently working on becoming a journalist. The thought of making a living from writing is quite desirable. History, politics and sociology are interests of mine, and I have spent some years studying them. My poetry tends to contain at least a subtle hint (but usually more) of social commentary...
Om du tilfeldigvis er fra Norge, eller på andre måter forstår norsk, besøk gjerne profilen min (Deus) på Dikt.no..
Enjoy your reading...

-
In light, so false
Radiant grey -
Fading minds feed the world what it wants,
feelings in disguise.
My Poetry
-
Hate the bliss behind bleak covers
as you world turn amiss. -
Is the rope around your neck tied to the pole of recognition?
Do you hang there swaying in the wind, the center of attention? -
We are directors of emotions.
Acting away our empty spaces, -
You leave me standing on shattered dreams of days to come My will yielding as scattered hope to wind succumb8 lines, 2 comments, September 4, 2007

The Black Iris on August 6, 2007I love your work. Just stumbled across your page by chance and it was a really nice surprise to see some poetry that sounded great to read. I think my favourite poem of yours would have to be 'Fire' I thought it was great.
Iris.
