ChristabellShow poetry

I've started writing by the name of thatdancinglove.  If you like my work, feel free to check it out.

I'm eighteen and I believe in beauty and love and something known as peace.

I'm on a performing ballroom dancing team and it's amazing.

I write what I feel, when I feel it and don't believe in forcing the words out.

I don't like rhyming usually.

I love the simple statements that tell you the world.

I love fooling around with different styles of poetry or just the appearence of it.

I think life is gorgeous, and sure I get angry or sad, but I honestly love living.

I'm a redhead. The hair is wavy (sometimes) and pretty and I like it.

My name is Christy.

I act, I sing, dancing in the rain, playing jazz trumpet

I write about love or beauty or my love for rain or sadness or just life in general.

I love the freedom that comes with dancing; the ability to see and feel the world in that old-fashioned hazy golden light.

I write to find myself, and to find my potential.

I have two accounts here; the other is secondary and tends to be angrier and more honest - ask if you're interested

I refuse to conform to teenage society - on most occasions, I really like who I am.

~Christy

Christy, I really liek this. There is just you and no ego in the poem and it summarises so much of what we all feel and have felt. Reading it was like linking into something totally familiar; thank you and well done!!
