My poetic style is direct, lucid, adaptable and evolving. I have published Reader's letters, Poetry and Articles in the national press; I am longingly hoping for more success. My girlfriend is a fellow poet on here who is just starting out and I am teaching her technical aspects of the craft. I am gaining confidence as I travel.
'To have my work recognised as a fine piece of literature, would bring to me a sense of "arriving." Whenever I board a train, I sit and wait to be taken to my destination by an unknown, to me, driver. In writing, I am the untrained driver who is sitting at the front of the train, not knowing what all of the controls, buttons and gauges are for, having to learn, station by station, how to move closer to where I want to be. This track will be long and hard; but I cannot walk away. The further I go, the more I learn and the closer I become to my goal'.
