It is difficult to put into words what my style is exactly. I suppose you could say I like to experiment. Most of my writing expresses my feelings but I have dabbled in poetry for children.I tend to write ideas on scraps of paper, sometimes even bus tickets. I have a tendency to wake in the night and write down ideas so I have a notepad at the side of my bed. Sometimes I find it difficult to sleep so poetry helps.
I have been through a lot of personal sadness over recent years and have had to start my life anew. I am now a single parent, though my children are mostly grown and perhaps may not need my support for that much longer I am still very sensitive and life is still a struggle. But then I know this is the same for many out there. Life is a battle and sometimes we win, sometimes we loose. I suppose we just have to take the good with the bad and appreciate those closest to us.
God Bless you all.

Callisto Athena on July 22Hi Cherry, just a note to let you know that indeed we seem to have tons in common and that I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.. I moved on the first and it's taken me this long to get internet service.. I moved out to the country and they seem to do everything slower out here..
I finally got satellite service today, yea!
I look forward to reading your poetry (if I ever get done unpacking and getting my house together,
)
