CherryRainShow poetry

This is me...

This is my soul…
Gentle and inspired.
Floating and dancing
with the breeze,
Spinning and twirling
with the wind.

This is my heart…
Mild and fragile.
Broken and repaired
a thousand times.
Looking for a sincere
spirit to hold it.

This is my mind…
Strong and resilient.
With the will to
move mountains.
And the power to soar
above the clouds.

This is my love…
Pure and genuine.
Sometimes misplaced
and confused.
When I love, I love
with all that I am.

This is me…
Independent and free.
I know the journey
may be rough.
Sooner or later
I’ll reach my destiny.

I believe that everyone has a song to sing, though they may be afraid to sing it.  I believe that everyone is a poet, though they may be afriad to let others read it.

My words are not impressive or eloquent or fancy.  I'm plain and simple me.  I can only write what I feel.  The rest is up to you to interpretate.

I am spiritual in my own way.  I reserve the right to be me.  I am an open book, with the deepest mysteries... and I challenge anyone to solve them.

Hello! I wanted to pop by and say thank-you for finding my poem worthy of the silver trophy. It is an honor and greatly appreciated. In answer to your question about this being therapuetic it is very hard but it is very theraputic as well because you learn to trust yourself. The one person you have to live with all the time.
