I love poetry, all forms. I love that moment when a poem makes sense, when the words jump off the page and I can see the shapes they take, I can understand what they say and picture it. I love the moment I read a new poem and think wow, this is amazing, when all the rhyme and the rhythm clicks, and I am left breathless. Language, any language, has a poetry to how it is spoken, some more than others. French and Italian are notable, they sound like music. I enjoy finding poetry that I can feel, poetry that I understand as well as I understand my own. We all know that our own poetry is better than anyone elses', it's not selfish, it's because we know why for every word we write.
