I know I should write something about myself (sigh)
the thought of describing my world and myself is
fraught with enough material to fill a book (hey, I'm
a writer, write it down, stupid). But, here goes something and it goes something like this:
I started writing in 1970, little short candy/dandy rhymes, then I found a book by Sylvia Plath 'Crossing the Water' that changed my whole outlook and process of writing. I've been reading and writing ever since...
I attend 'junior college' where I am sort of a 'poet in the house', I preform (not as often as I'd like) at several coffee-house where I preform my poetic chants and mantras, I also recite my darker material "The Shadow's Keep" and 'The Celtic Moon', both will be in print (by me, not some foolish editor) in 2007.
And in case anyone is interested, I'm a recovered and still discovering addict, who's had many more demons than he could handle, and have been sober and clean for four years now, this new year's day.
I look forward to reading new material, and as poetry is my art-craft I sometimes can be too critical, I hope to temper my critiques as much as possible, but new buttons will never make an old coat new...
much thanks from: cereus opus
