To me, a poem is a life force. It needs to be born and expressed as much as possible.
Poetry lets go of emotion, and it doesn't care what you talk about.
One Day As An Artist
I was never really an artist
I never called myself one
I always wrote what I felt
woes and all
today, I woke up and expressed
in brush not in ink
visually capturing the
essence within everything
-from never picking up an
artists' apparatus before
we never shared anything alike
my words dissolved in this paint
my feelings outlined in black
I carefully moved my brush around
in each stroke I could relive it all
I rushed my silence in between
the colors and across the canvas
I could feel my life become real
adrenaline based and hormone balanced
the sky and trees were placed
eventually the muse passed
I was a beginner again
