Dear Daddy...
I miss you so much
More than any words can be expressed
To have had you as a father
I know I must have been quite blessed
But then you went to heaven
And left us all alone
My body suffered much pain
It hurt straight through the bone
Growing up without you
Seems so painful and hard
Sometimes I feel as If my heart
Has been permanently scarred
There is a huge hole
That noone can fill in my heart
Just tell me dad
Why did you have to depart?
Depart from this family
You know you were welcome to stay
We never wanted you to leave
So why did you go away?
Regardless the explanation
It was god who called for you
Nomatter how much we dislike it
There's nothing we can do
So I strive to be a better person each day
The person you would be proud of
So I know you will be the one smiling
