What can one say to a place that used to be home?
I miss you.
Life has caught up with us. The "Wild Bunch" as I like to term my little family ha ha ha..
Tristen is now 14 and finished Cross Country, has made B honor roll. He loves skateboarding and drawing. Big time reader as well.
Victoria 13 - was a cheerleader right up until this past monday where she fractured her ankle. She is still on the Student Council and her grades are A's and B's.
Morgan has braces, is also a Cheerleader and is trying so hard to get over her reading problems. She loves middle school, and enjoys her best friends Bailey and Daran.
Nevaeh - is 7 going on 40 ha the bossy one still, a tomboy has several friends and loves anything involved outdoors. She is now the proud owner of a pet turtle named Alex, and it's a GIRL she tells people that constantly.
V just recently underwent his 16th surgery, long road from that long Dec 1, 2004 injury in Iraq. He had a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant put in to help with his pain management and to help defray the use of narcotics. He continues to amaze me with his personal courage, and sense of humor. Though he has had his moments don't get me wrong.
Me? I am working with Operation Homefront here in Georgia on the group Wounded Warrior Wives, as well as a Combat Stress Group we have going. I am hoping to start school in January for Medical Transcriptionist. Something in the medical field, being as we are so familiar with it.
We ALL are big on Volunteering. I've always believed, One person, One day, One Step at a time, can make a difference. The little things matter. Is it silly to hope that me in my part of the world can make life better? I hope not. But..
Faith starts somewhere, right?
I've come a long way.
You live and you learn. And I love with every fiber of my being.
To anyone whom I have ever hurt along the way? I am so sorry.
I feel every absence of everyone of you very strongly.
I love you Momma and Edward. I miss you both more than you can ever know.

The Fallen Poet : Read your comment... a year and a half later, lol on October 25I never got an alert saying you left me a comment, well I thought I should respond. We talked a couple of times when I had my original AP name "A Darker Mind", but I found my new name suited me better. Things are better since the accident, minor inconveniences such as light headedness and pain in both of my knees from time to time; other than that, I'm in good health.
Its been a long time since we've talked (over 3 years I believe) and I hope all is well for you too, cause I know life can be a pain in the ass (and other parts of the body, lol).
