Hello, and welcome to my page. May I tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in North Carolina and reside here today. For someone who doesn't care much for change, my childhood was a traumatic experience. We moved quite a bit and that meant new schools, leaving old friends, and the never ending fear of having to relocate once again. I don't know if that caused me to be shy, or if my shyness made that experience more traumatic. After finally graduating from high school, getting married, and a tour of duty in Vietnam, I thought my life would settle down and take on the appearance of being normal. The moving did stop, and after my army days were over my wife and I settled in one place and have been here for over 30 years. I’ve had a few rewarding jobs none of which had anything to do with writing. I am now working on a book about my childhood and coming up as a preachers kid. In addition, I write poetry, or try. I enjoy writing poetry that is understandable but could have a hidden meaning also. My wife and daughter have been the inspiration for some of them, and I give the Lord credit for both my family and my talent. I am grateful for my family and for what the Lord has done for my life.
