I thought it was time to update my profile. As I stated in my last profile I am a middle class working girl living in Bangor, Maine, USA. I used to tinker with poetry when I was in high school, writing my own greeting cards, etc., but hadn't done much with it in my adult years. Last November I began dating a poet, one of AP's long time members, Dillpickle62, who inspired me to have a hand at it again. Today, we are still together, and while I spend a lot of my time supporting Ned and his writing, (he just published his first book of short stories!), I do find some time to write my own poetry. He convinced me to do it on AP, and that's how I wound up here. I have read many poems by numerous poets and have found more talent on this website than I could have ever imagined...and I am humbled. Yet, I still enjoy sharing my simple style of rhyme, which I love. Thank you to the members of AP for sharing your talents, as well as taking the time to read and comment on mine.

Exit-Stage-Right on January 28Ah; Bangor, Maine... love it! Took a week in November of '94 to tour Maine. Bangor had a great selection of used book stores and a wonderful old Hotel right downtown. Augusta had great book stores too. As did some barn out in the middle of nowhere--filled with books! I had great finds at almost all of them! Hmmm... I never thought to try the CandiKisses!
