I am a lover of all things romantic.. Fantasy I live and breath..
Science fiction I grew up on and love.. (How can it be called
fiction when it always seems to come true in the end?)..
I have loved and enjoyed anything and everything to do with
Star Trek and consider myself a true-blue Trekker.. I think the
Lord of the Ring films are the epitome of great movies,
truly bringing special effects into the 21st century.. I'm glad
I've lived long enough to see these great stories fall from
Tolkien's pages to appear before our very eyes..

I have been writing poetry and short stories for more years then
I care to count, I have volumes filled with my scribblings and
scratchings, only now I have decided to share them with others
who love writing as much as I do.. If you read any of them I hope
you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them..

At this time in my life, I have a wonderful, sweet cat who goes by the name of Feather Tea.. She loves both things.. Feathers and tea.. I have to make sure I leave my cup some place away from her or it's goodbye tea..

Callisto=a nymph in Grecian mythology, a favorite of Artemis,

Goddess of the Hunt..

Athena=Greek Goddess of Wisdom and Patron of Crafting-

I grew up on the ocean and have been away from it for more then years then I like to think about.. I miss the sea, the wonderful scents that would greet me each day..

Always different, like a lady, you never knew what kind of mood she would be in.. I miss the warm sand between my toes or sitting on the beach just thinking about all those things that we humans tend to contemplate from time to time, you know, important things, like beer and how it's made or did I remember to pick up potato chips for the party.. Those kinds of things..
Those of you who live by her shores consider yourselves fortunate indeed..

I have been most fortunate in my lifetime to own some amazing and lovely animals.. Horses, dogs, cats even a couple of cute little black and white rats, a white ferret and two wonderful and unique birds.. A gorgeous little blue parakeet named Lady Blue and my wonderful Cockatiel named Jean Luc Picard.. He thought he was just the most handsome bird in the world and he would not hesitate to tell you so, literally! They have all gone to better places.. I hope to see them all again someday..

My favorite time of the year is fall.. I love the crisp cool air and the way the autumn winds blow away the summer heat.. I love all things about this season, from the wonderful woodsy smells to the delightful and fun Halloween decorations (also my favorite holiday of the year).. The stunning colors around my neck of the woods would take your breath way and Feather, like most animals, always goes a little nuts when the swift winds come knocking at the door.. She loves chasing leaves around!
