Welcome to my world. May you find it agreeable.
You may not find it "great," but I hope it is at least interesting, because to be boring is the worst sin of all.
I tend to write of many things and I am one of those foolish enough to write the occasional old fashioned love poem in a classic form. But, I also like the dark, abstract, nihilistic poems as well. It may well be I was simply born a hundred years too late.
Read a few and give me comments. I enjoy having different eyes see my poetry in ways I may never have imagined. Love it or hate it, I hope you find some inspiration in my page and my words leave you with the need to do some more writing of your own. We poets here at AP, though perhaps unappreciated now, are the keepers of the dreams the world has forgotten. One day, we may be in the vanguard of the next renaissance.
Many of you may already know that I enjoy building and refinishing furniture and have several pieces around the house that are the result of my handiwork. If you see a picture of a piece of furniture where my picture usually goes, it is one of mine.
Also, from time to time you might see a picture of my son Cade, who is seven years old.
Or the attack cat, Zoey.

Flare the Arcphoenix on July 31Even your author page emits an aura of greatness. ^_^Unapprove | Delete
For some reason, you remind me of the man known as V, from "V for Vendetta," simply because you strike me as such a person: intelligent, poetic (of course), and unique.
...Of course, the use of the word "vanguard" brought back memories of the 'v'-alliterated speech.
Awe-inspiring page, to go well with equally amazing works. Nice to have seen you here.
Sincerely,
