G'day one and all. My name is Chris (although I pen as C.W. Bush) and I am the artist formerly known as Ravenlord. Why the change? Ravenlord was the handle of my teenage angst phase - and at the age of twenty four I think I've graduated to adult angst.
My dream in life is to write for a living. And after watching far too many episodes of Entourage - to be filthy, stinking rich while doing so. And while I've had a few poems, columns, and short stories published - none have propelled me to the dizzying heights of fame and fortune just yet.
In the meantime, I've just embarked on an adventure in South Korea - working as an english teacher and getting roaringly drunk in my spare time. It's been an adventure so far, and it's only been a month. Eleven more to go!
My main project at the moment is my novel, Letting Go. It's appeared in various incarnations in the past - but this current version (which can be found in the Letting Go collection) is the real deal. This is the one I intend to send off to publishers - so any thoughts and criticisms are most welcome. My other half started novels here on AP include The Unraveling and Eight Things to do Before You Die.
I do poetry too, of course. I don't have any real favourites - but others have suggested the likes of Love, To Me; White Rose; and Impossible. I've an eclectic style, though, so I'm sure you'll find something you like. Well, I hope so, anyway.
I am single, so any AP bachelorettes out there can woo me at their leisure.
I won't hold my breath, haha.
