I am a stay-at-home-mom. Between cooking, cleaning, caring for kids and getting prepared to start college in two years I write poetry, short-stories and work on photography. I run a writing group for aspiring authors and all of our members (other than me) are people with great stories in them and though I am not able to write like them I am happy to be around those more talented than myself. I am a good poet and love creating.
My poetry writes itself I am just the instrument that it uses to get out. Not a very effective instrument but an instrument all the same.

Fools Alphabet on July 2, 2004Thank you for the opportunity to read some of your work. Interesting take on ‘Darkness in your eyes’ comparing the darkness in his eyes to the glowing in hers. ‘Death in plain view’ was extraordinary, I’ve definitely never read anything like this before and enjoyed it very much. ‘Angel’ although on the familiar theme of inevitable change, has your own stamp on it, and the use of repetition works well. I hope that the questions that you raise in ‘Gone’ are helping you to come to terms with your loss; you bring a sense of maturity and strength to ‘Teenage love and Loss’ which would only benefit other teenagers to read.
